The band was formed to provide good clean music for music lovers and artists. As a whole they share the gifts that God has blessed them with as a tool to minister to the hearts of people. Understanding that music is powerful and it can help take your mind to a place of relaxation. The vision of Soulful Sounds is simple; to provide a little soul on every wave of music they play.  Members of the band are as follows, Music Director- Aaron Weaver (Keys), Joseph (JoJo) McGowan (Bass), Christopher Mitchell (Saxophone), Tyrus Graham (Drums), and Tosha Butler (Vocalist)

POSTPONED-Greg O’Quin @ Fort Hood

Due to unavoidable events the Gospel Jam ministry opportunity on May 8, 2010 will be postponed. Keep checking for more details.

Fort Hood is the nation’s largest military installment. The American soldiers put their lives on the line everyday to fight for our country. We cannot forget that these soldiers are people with families, fears, hopes, dreams, and even doubt. They are in need of something that can inspire them to keep doing what they do. They need to know that as a community we appreciate everything they have sacrificed for us. The Gospel Jam would like to use this concert as an opportunity to raise $5,000 to help aid those families that were affected in the tragic shooting on November 5, 2010.

The Gospel Jam is an outreach ministry focused on giving Christian artists a platform to minister outside of the church walls. Those in attendance should expect an event full of quality Christian entertainment suitable for all ages.

The 2010 Stellar Award nominee, Greg O’Quin and iPraize, will headline the concert hosted by Gospel recording artist Monae Miller. The concert will also feature poetry and dancing.

Please visit The Gospel Jam website at www.thegospeljam.com or contact Kyle Miller at kylemiller@thegospeljam.com or 972-821-9930 for more information on how you can donate or become a sponsor for this exciting event.
