Have you ever looked at something and said, I want that someday or have you ever inspired to be something in life. When you have something brewing in your heart and have a desire to do just that, it becomes a passion within our heart.  Or the thing that we want, becomes something that motivates us. To often times we think that just because we possess a passion, a gift, or even a calling, that it will just come to us. We have to realize that even though that motivation, passion, calling, gift, or whatever it is is in our hearts, we still have to take the necessary steps to achieve it.  Yes, there are things that our Lord and savior wants us to do and accomplish, but the first step is simply going to HIM and asking for what it is we want to do.  Understand that in asking, it’s all for the Glory of our Lord and savior Jesus Christ and not ourselves.  So we have to learn how to go to God and ask for what we want but with a heart that it’s to glorify HIM.  Yes, God knows our hearts desires, but HE is waiting on us to come to HIM with it.  The first step to being proactive, go to God in prayer, and ask him for what ever your hearts desire, passion, gift, to be revealed unto you.  God bless.
