For somebody to be our right hand man, or woman, means they are a close friend and you have confidence in them that they will always do right by you and never forsake you. This type of bond is built over time with a sense that it will last a lifetime. The true test of a right hand man comes in certain trials and tribulations and seeing if that person will stand by your side in the bad times. While it’s certainly good to have a right hand man hear on earth, we have to remember that we have a right hand man looking down on us as well. While we don’t see Christ in the physical, remember that HE has always been there sense day one. This is one right hand man that has always been there for us and stayed there, even when we have left HIM at times. And due to the fact that we have Jesus Christ as our right hand man, we can stand firm and confident that no matter what happens, HE will be there to keep us upright and prevail. Psalms 16:8
